Turkey Meatballs

Easy and delicious turkey meatballs!

This is actually my mom's recipe and it's brilliant! My kids especially can't get enough of them! They're easy enough to make and they're super tasty. They can be paired with your favorite marinara sauce. or maybe some zucchini noodles and our cauliflower Alfredo sauce.


  • 3 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 3/4 cup all purpose gluten free flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons basil
  • 1/2 tablespoon oregano
  • 3 cloves mince garlic or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • a few dashes of pepper


  • Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl
  • Look for a dough-like texture
  • Form into 1″ meatballs
  • Cooking option #1: bake in oven at 350ºF in a  9×13 inch baking dish for 30-40 minutes
  • Cooking option #2: cook on stovetop in a large skillet over medium high heat with a little oil/fat, keep flipping and turning until thoroughly cooked/golden brown. (This is our favorite way to make them, it’s gives the meatballs a nice “crust”.)
