So one of my goals lately has been sneaking in new and exotic flavors into my kids diet. I've found by sneaking it in subtly they start growing accustomed to it. They're actually really good eaters and will eat almost any fruit or veggie but I've been wanting to expand their diet in terms of spices and seasonings. It's actually a great technique for adults too! I've been doing things like adding curry powder into their burgers or just a bit of something (chili powder, cumin, ginger, rosemary, etc.) to roasted, sautéed, or steamed veggies. One of the things they don't like is mustard, but they'll eat this chicken! With this recipe using mustard powder gives it a lot more subtle flavor and maybe one day I can sneak in some real mustard.
