Apple Ginger Chicken

Our second apple recipe for the month is both savory and simple to make. Making it one of our favorite dinners!

Ingredients

  • 4-6 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • Sea salt/pepper to taste

Steps

  • Combine everything in a crock pot
  • Cook on low for 5-6 hours or until chicken is throughly cooked
